Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 August 2026
Welcome to Aicmark (aicmark.com). By using this website or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Aicmark provides upload of student homework / exam papers, AI marking and analysis, student performance records, same-year comparisons, mark alignment / calibration, and reports (depending on plan). Features may differ between Basic and Premium accounts and may change over time.
AI comments and scores are for teaching reference only. They are not official exam results. Teachers should review outputs before relying on them.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
If you register for a school or manage student data, you warrant that you are authorised and will comply with school policy and applicable law (including privacy).
3. Use of student work and data (important)
You agree that uploaded homework, papers and related content may be processed by AI to produce marks and feedback, and that results will be retained in our system as student records and part of the service database.
Where settings allow, eligible results may be included in same-year / same-age, same-region, same-assignment-language comparison data. Chinese and English work are kept separate and are not mixed as one language-ability measure.
Original upload files are not kept long-term; we retain analysis results, scores and related records. See the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
Use the service only for lawful educational assessment. Do not upload illegal, infringing, pornographic, violent, malware or irrelevant content.
Do not attempt to disrupt, hack, abuse quotas, bypass security, or use the service for attacks or improper automation.
You warrant you own or are licensed to upload the files and that content does not infringe others’ rights.
5. Quotas, plans and changes
Upload quotas and permissions for Basic and Premium plans are as published on the site. We may reasonably change features, quotas, pricing or plans, with notice where practical.
Third-party AI services may be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect marks.
6. Intellectual property
The site interface, the Aicmark name, software and original content belong to us or our licensors. You retain rights in student work you upload; you grant us a licence to process, store and analyse it as needed to provide the service.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for teaching or administrative consequences of AI marking errors.
Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim; if you paid nothing, to zero (except where mandatory law says otherwise).
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach, abuse or legal reasons. You may stop using the service; for deletion of accounts or data see the Privacy Policy and contact us.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes should first be resolved amicably; otherwise the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction (subject to mandatory consumer protections).
